Our  Head Chef Linsey Scott and her unusually female dominant team will do her best to cater for everyone who comes to eat in New Lanark. Award-winning Linsey, born in Polbeth and now living in Breich, holds numerous awards - Hit Scotland Scholarship in 2009; Hospitality Salon Culinaire; winning Gold at La Parade Des Chefs in 2009; Rising Star Chef of the Year in 2011; and at this year’s Scottish Hotel Awards, Linsey was voted Hotel Executive Chef Médaille d’Or, the top accolade.

Our Mill One Restaurant is one of the central features of the hotel and offers many options for the discerning diner. The char grill section of our menu is very popular and you can be assured that we serve only top quality Scotch beef on our menu. We are proud to be a member of the Scotch Beef Club. All of our dishes use only the finest of local produce so you'll be sure to get a taste of authentic Scotland when you dine with us.

To complement our delicious menu we have a superb wine list featuring a great selection of wines from around the world sourced by Inverarity Morton, our wine specialists. They've ensured our list covers wines from the old and new world offering a good selection not only by the bottle but by the glass too. In addition we feature Fairtrade wines to reflect the ethos of our business.
