Sadly, we have taken the difficult decision to close New Lanark’s Mill One Hotel temporarily from Monday 9th November, due to the current Covid situation.
The relentless nature of the pandemic, the associated restrictions in Scotland, the lockdown in England/ Wales and absence of overseas visitors has left hotel occupancy at an unsustainable level.
Therefore we are putting the hotel staff into the furlough scheme to help protect their jobs, until the hotel can reopen. Since returning from lockdown our team have been working extremely hard to provide guests with excellent service and experiences and we can’t wait to do so again.
We are in the process of contacting all guests impacted by this lock down and will update our guests regularly as we work towards reopening the hotel.
We look forward to welcoming all our guests back at New Lanark once conditions improve and would like to thank you all for your understanding during these difficult times.

We have put in place mandatory training on our staffs return to work to ensure that all of our staff are complaint with our health and safety procedures and cleanliness standards.
