Sitting amongst the Hebridean Scottish isles are the Malt Whisky producing islands of Islay and Skye. Rugged, windswept and barren, the island landscapes generally produce Single Malt Whiskies that are very distinctive with their taste, which varies from the gentle taste of the North to the peaty and medicinal character of the South.
